Animo Youngster Cup, in collaboration with En Garde, is a circuit of four legs scheduled in four prestigious events in Germany. The first leg was in Leipzig last January 14/17.
The prestigious venue of this second leg is Hamburg, the second most populous city in Germany, after the capital Berlin, and also the most populous non-capital city of the European Union. Its port is the largest in Germany and the second in the EU. Hamburg is traditionally also the centre of attention for equestrian sport: the city hosts one of the most exclusive and unusual events of international equestrian sport. The German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby attracts athletes from all over the world, along with over 70,000 spectators a year, in a true country atmosphere.

The legendary and timeless German Jumping and Dressage Derby equestrian event combines tradition and modernity. From 04 to 08 May, the best pairs meet every year to compete in the wonderful green arena of this iconic equestrian event. With a course of 1,230 metres, 17 obstacles with 26 jumps, the German Jumping Derby is the oldest and most prestigious and also difficult course of all time. In addition, Hamburg is also the only German leg of the prestigious five-star series Longines Global Champions Tour. The riderlist is full of champions! Among Animo’s jumping testimonials there are Christian Ahlamm, Michael and William Whitaker, Bertram Allen, Sergio Alvarez Moya, Pius Schwizer, Clarissa Crotta, Denis Lynch, Patrick Stuhlmeyer…
To complete the action on the wonderful jumping area there is the Animo Youngster Cup. Even the German Dressage Derby is a great traditional competition, with an addition a Dressage Derby for U25- and U16-riders.

En Garde is a full-service agency in the range of sport marketing with twenty permanent workers and a variable number of freelance collaborators.
