St. Gallen, Switzerland: Belgium won the Nations Cup
For the first time in eighty years Belgium won the Nations Cup of CSIO of Switzerland.

After the success in Geneva in 1934, the Belgian team renewed the victory in St. Gallen. Belgium has made this first place with a total of 9 penalties thanks to Pieter Devos on Dream of India Greenfield with 5/0, Niels Bruynseels of Pommeau du Heup with 4/1, Jos Verlooy of Domino with 0/0 and Gregory Wathelet on Conrad de Hus with 8/0. Switzerland ranked second with 12 penalties and then Ireland with 13, Germany with 14, France with 21, Britain with 29, Italy with 32 and the Netherlands with 44. Now Belgium is first in the ranking of the Nations Cup circuit with 250 points, followed by France with 220, Ireland 205, Italy 155, the Netherlands and Spain 135, Sweden 130, Britain with 100, Switzerland with 90 and finally Germany 70.
