Team silver medal and fifth individual place at Rio 2016 Oympic Games with Voyeur, the U.S. rider Kent Farrington holds at the moment the third position in Longines FEI World Jumping Ranking. Born in December 28th 1980, he’s considered one of the fastest riders in the world of show jumping. He began riding at eight-years-old after he saw a picture of his mother on a horse and wanted to try it himself. He started taking lessons at a carriage barn in dowtown Chicago and he graduated from riding carriage horses in the city to racing ponies and retraining ex-racehorses in the suburbs! Kent solidified his presence in the sport when he claimed a gold medal at the 1999 North American Young Riders International Competition at the age of eighteen. He became soon one of the best jumping rider in the world. Now he is a real star all over the world and his profession is very well organized with his good horses, partners, and sponsors.

In the current season he kept his good form obtaining victories and very good placements with his super horses, such as Gazelle, Creedance,Voyeur, Uceko, Aron and others. Besides the Team silver olympic medal, he conquered the American Gold Cup riding Gazelle ter Elzen.
With his BWP mare he won also the prestigious Grand Prix CSI5* at Calgary. Furthermore, he won the Grand Prix CSI5* at St. Moritz and Grand Prix CSI4* Windsor with Creedance, the Grand Prix CSI3* at Tyron with Gazelle ter Elzen and at Wellington with Uceko.
Second place in Nations Cup at CSIO Rotterdam riding Creedance and Rome riding Voyeur. His stable is in Wellington, Florida; it’s really a wonderful and amazing farm, a paradise for horses!
