He is the best known and most appreciated Italian rider in national and international scene for his elegance, his beautiful riding in the absolute respect of the horses and for his extraordinary career.
Filippo Moyersoen was born in Carpiano, in the province of Milan, in the family’s farm Longora where he has his stable. His father, Albert Moyersoen, is a horseman of exceptional experience and wisdom. Filippo took part in his first Nations Cup in Aachen in 1977 and from then he has had an extraordinary career; he competed in the Olympics in Los Angeles 1984, in WEG in Dublin in 1982 and in three editions of the European Championships (Monaco 1981, Hickstead 1982, Dinard 1985) with his extraordinary Adam. In 1981 riding Adam Moyersoen established the indoor record of puissance competition jumping the wall of 2.31 meters in Washington.
Among his best horses, winners in Nations Cup and Grand Prix, there are Dugano, Eikorn, Garibaldi, Zenzero di Santa Marta, Eclypso D.C. In recent competitive seasons his top horse is the grey mare Canada.
Moyersoen competed in 18 Italian Championships, winning three times the gold medal: 1983 with Adam, 1989 with Dugano, 2013 with Canada.
