Originally German but with the Ukrainian flag, Ulrich Kirchhoff, “Uli” for friends, was the author of a venture that will remain in the annals of the history of show jumping: with his extraordinary stallion Jus de Pomme, he won the individual gold medal and team at the Atlanta Olympics Games in 1996, just five days before he turned 29 years old, becoming the youngest Olympic champion in the history of show jumping. In the same year, always with Jus de Pomme, he was also German champion. In 2013 he left Germany and became a member of the Ukrainian team under the leadership of Oleksandr Onyshchenko and thus becoming a reference for the riders of the team. Kirchhoff, as well as rider's top level, he devotes to the work of young horses and to the education. From several years he is estabilished in Italy, Bergamo (Lombardy).
