After the injury in Mexico in April this year, Ahlmann made a massive comeback in Paris this weekend.
He scored back-to-back wins in the city of light. On Saturday, 24 June, riding Mandato van de Neerheide Ahlmann secured the top spot in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris. Following this massive win on Sunday, 25 June, he conquered the CSI5* 1.55m Saint Laurent Eiffel Challenge. This time he was with his 9-year-old stallion Otterongo Alpha Z (Darco x Hedjaz).
The German rider expressed his extreme happiness to finish the Paris tour with two consecutive wins. For him, coming back after an injury to such a result was ‘unbelievable’.
