German eventer Michael Jung competes at top international jumping level showing his horse sense and perfect techinique
Michael Jung is currently one of the best rider in the world. He competes at top eventing and also show jumping level showing a really perfect riding and the best athletic conditions of all his horses. He showed once again his peerless skill last 5th and 6th December at CHI Geneve where he competed in Indoor-Cross Country, run over two arenas comprising natural obstacles, banks and the lake, with the Westfalen mare Corazon, placing at second place. The next day he competed in Rolex Grand Prix riding the Hannover mare FisherSolution, placing 11° among the best jumping international riders. Michael shows the best riding and the ability to sit in the saddle in the correct classical positions, and to be able to maintain this position without any tension under all circumstances, both sitting and light seat, and in perfect balance. He runs the courses, both jumping and cross country courses – with regular and good gallop, perfect course’s plan, concentration and precision. But first of all he and his horses communicate in lightness all the time.
German Olympian Michael Jung is currently the World’s number one in FEI Eventing Ranking and the most successful rider of recent years. With La Biosethique Sam Michael is the current Olympic champion and team silver in Rio 2016. In 2016 with Sam he won Badminton and in doing so he won the Eventing Rolex Grand Slam (for consecutive wins at Burghley, Lexington and Badminton). In 2012 he became the first rider ever to hold the Olympic, European (2011) and World (2010) titles at the same time – all achieved with La Biosethique Sam. In 2015 at Blair Castle, he won his third consecutive European Championship title all on different horses –Halunke 2013, Sam 2011 - and won also team gold with FisherTakinou. In 2014 he won with FisherRocana the individual silver and team gold, in addition to countless victories at all the best Eventing in the World.
