Dressage Rider
One of the best riders in Germany, Matthias Alexander Rath comes from an equestrian family and he’s almost born and grew up with horses. His guide is Klaus Martin Rath, instructor, trainer and father. His mother, Karsten Huck, is an equestrian rider and photographer; his stepmother Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, is one of the best international Dressage Riders. In family’s stable, in Kronberg, they breed horses, train them and bring them up to the highest competition levels. Horses are an integral part of Rath’s family. Matthias placed himself and his beautiful stallion Totilas at the top of the discipline getting wins and placings in the world's top dressage ring.
​Today, Matthias best results are: team bronze at the World Championships in Lexington 2010 with Sterntaler-Unicef; eighth place in the Final of the World Cup 2010 in 's-Hertogenbosch with Triviant 2. Team Silver at the European Championships in Rotterdam 2011 with Totilas, team bronze at European Championships in Windsor in 2009 with Sterntaler-Unicef.
