Icon of British showjumping, Peter Charles is one of the most popular riders in the equestrian world, not only among fans of horse riding but in the world of sport in general.
He’s already a legendary champion in the world of show jumping after he had won for three consecutive years, 2001, 2002, 2003 the prestigious Hickstead Derby in Great Britain riding Corrada. In 1992 he became a member of the Irish team, with which he won the individual European Championship riding La Ina, before returning in 2007 again under the flag of Great Britain.
His palmarès is exceptional: three participations at the Olympic Games, winning the team gold medal in London 2012 riding Vindicat W, great jumper who sold to Jessica Springsteen, daughter of the famous artist Bruce. Three editions of the World Championships and three editions of the European Championships, winning individual gold in St. Gallen 1995 with La Ina and team gold at Arnhem 2001 with Corrada.
